Do you have a story to tell? As a means to coach and help clients, I have decided to solicit your mortgage horror stories. Has there been a time when you felt you were taken advantage of in a mortgage loan transaction? Tell me about it. Are you in the middle of a mortgage loan right now? Ask me any questions about the process and I will try and respond every couple of days and help you save some money. So ask away!

I think the comments to the post are as interesting as the post itself.

I just got the chills looking at these photos. Snowfalls in Manhattan are my absolute favorite thing in the world. The quiet that comes over the city is unimaginable. LOVE these!

I am in the process of taking a personal financial planning course at a local univeristy and I have to do a research paper and presentation. In my research I am using "the good, the bad, and the ugly" approach on Reverse Mortgages.
The companies I have contacted have sent me some information (actually only one would send me anything because I am not yet 65) with all the advantages and the fact that applicants must go through counseling, but I am unable to find anything regarding any of the actual horror stories other than one that my professor provided me.
I am also within 15 years of retirement and was looking at the reverse mortgages for my own education.
Can you point me in a direction where I might find some horror stories. Or, possibly tell me where I might go to find federal legislation on the subject?
I would appreciate any help you might offer.
Thank you in advance.
